Both fighters will meet again in a much-anticipated rematch where ‘El Gato’ will try to avenge his points loss to Taylor in their first fight.

The countdown is coming to an end. After more than two years in the making, the rematch is finally about to happen. Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall will step into the ring again in one of the most interesting non-title bouts of the year.

Both men don’t like each other and that bad blood will probably translate into a full-action clash. The British will be looking to avenge his loss to Taylor in February 2022, a controversial points win for the Scottish, although many believe Catterall was the better man on the night.

The fight was expected to happen on April 27, but it was postponed after the 2014 Commonwealth Games gold medalist had to back out due to injury.
