The 2024 Olympic tennis tournament final was dramatic, with Novak Djokovic edging Carlos Alcaraz in two tiebreaks and the Serb finally accomplishing what he had been fighting for all his career, the Summer Games gold medal.

Almost three weeks later, both men will meet again, but on a different court and under other circumstances. They will play an exhibition match in the Stars of the Open event, a game where the Serb will team up with John McEnroe, and Alcaraz will play alongside Andre Agassi in a doubles match.

The showdown between the fourth tennis greats is part of the events that take place the week before the US Open.
