With so many storylines – PGA vs LIV, Scottie Scheffler on a roll, Rahm targeting back-to-backs, oh, and there’s a Tiger with us again – and the pairings for the opening two days have been confirmed, along with the respective tee times for Thursday and Friday.

Who will make the cut? There are a few you’d put your monthly salary on being in the mix on moving day, but there are often a few surprises awaiting us too. Let’s take a look at when the various groups are heading out and we can start to plan our viewing schedules based on who we’re most keen to follow.

Who are LIV players paired with?

One of the stand out groups is that involving Scottie Scheffler, who won the green jacket in 2022 and already has two wins under his belt this season, including The Players Championship. He heads out with Rory McIlroy, the four-time major champion from Northern Ireland, targeting the Masters to complete a career Grand Slam. Making up the trio is Xander Schauffele, currently ranked number five in the world. Tasty indeed.

Tiger Woods is another that will have the crowds following and he is due to tee off at 1:24 p.m. on Thursday and 10:18 a.m. on Friday. If the sporting legend makes the cut, it will be a record-breaking 24th straight. Out of interest, none of the 13 members of LIV Golf in the field have been paired together, instead hitting the course with two PGA Tour players each.
