The quarter-finals of the Ally Pally World Darts Championships will start on January 1st, after the completion of rounds three and four.

Among all the players in the first rounds, the youngest competitor at the competition, Luke Littler, impressed the crowd the most. He’s on a winning mission and reached the fourth round of the World Darts Championship. He averaged more than 97 per dart, threw eight maximum 180s, and produced three 100-plus checkouts, including a magnificent 164 in the fifth set of his third-round match against the Canadian Campbell. The audience in Alexandra Palace has already chanted for him; anytime he wins, he is cheered with: “You got school tomorrow!”.

Michael Smith, the reigning champion, successfully defended his title by defeating Madars Razma. Smith aims to become just the fourth player in history to win back-to-back titles. Although he started slowly, Smith managed to overcome Latvia’s top player, Razma, in a hard-fought match.
