Zurich Classic of New Orleans: Thursday Round 1 Tee Times | How to watch
Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry look to retain their title and gator skin belts after their playoff victory in 2024. McIlroy is back after winning the 2025 Masters and celebrating back home.

This is a team event in which players will compete in the four-ball format (also known as best ball) on Thursday and Saturday. On Friday and Sunday the formal will be foursomes (also known as alternate shot). Teams don’t play match play format, but instead compete together to try to get the overall lowest score.
Although some big names will be missing in New Orleans such as Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth, there will be plenty of top-20 players competing. Besides defending champs McIlroy and Lowry, Collin Morikawa will be competing with Kurt Kitayama. Si Woo Kim, Akshay Bhatia and Sepp Straka are some of the other big names in the field.
Brothers Nicolai and Rasmus Højgaard as well as Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick will also be there and several “international teams” such as French golfers Matthieu Pavon and Victor Perez and Canadians Adam Hadwin and Nick Taylor will look to represent their countries in New Orleans.
The action can be followed on the Golf Channel and NBC Sports App all four days and on CBS on Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m.
