Estados Unidos Update:

Max Verstappen had a standout weekend in Italy, securing victory at the seventh race of the Formula One season at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari – the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix – after an intense battle from the very start. Lando Norris crossed the line in second, with Oscar Piastri completing the podium for McLaren.

The Dutch driver pulled away early with a commanding lead, one that gradually narrowed as the laps wore on. Even with the appearance of the safety car, Verstappen held firm and remained in control throughout. This marks his 65th win in Formula One, though only his second of the 2025 season, following his triumph at the Japanese Grand Prix.

In the closing stages, the McLaren duo staged an engaging scrap for position. Norris, benefiting from fresher tires, eventually got the better of Piastri. “We had a good battle at the end, Oscar and I – always tense, but always fun,” Norris said.

Also worth highlighting was Lewis Hamilton’s strong recovery, finishing fourth after starting 12th on the grid. It was his first Formula One race with Ferrari on Italian soil.

Argentina’s Franco Colapinto returned to the starting grid with Alpine, but was unable to score points, beginning and ending the race in 16th place.
