Christian Horner, the team principal of Red Bull Racing, has praised Max Verstappen’s recent performances, stating that the Dutch driver is superior to his competitors.

The Dutch motorist at Spa Francorchamps achieved an impressive feat as he secured his 8th consecutive race victory, marking it as his 10th win of the season and 45th win in his career. Red Bull, his team, also broke the record of 13 consecutive wins, which was previously held by McLaren, with the Senna/Prost duo in 1988, with his outstanding performance. This is truly a remarkable achievement for both the driver and the team.

As the 2023 season progresses, it’s clear that Red Bull’s drivers have dominated the races. They have won every race so far this year. Team boss Christian Horner has closely monitored his drivers’ performances and noted that Max Verstappen has been particularly dominant over his teammate Sergio Perez - Checo. Despite Red Bull having a superior car, Perez has only managed to win two races thus far. Horner will undoubtedly look for ways to improve Perez’s performance and ensure that both drivers can compete at their highest level.

I think there was superiority over everybody at the moment. Generally, it has been outstanding, and what we’re witnessing with Max at the moment is something that you see once in a generation.” Horner added in an interview: “Like all the great drivers, he just has that extra capacity. What we’re witnessing and seeing with him at the moment is his ability to read the tires, to read a race, to extract absolutely everything out of it. “It’s great to see. I think he’s just at the top of his form at the moment.

The Dutch driver leads the overall standings with 289 points, Perez is second with 171, and Fernando Alonso in Aston Martin with 139. The next race of the Formula 1 season is the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort on August 27.
