Another blow for Real Madrid as Dani Carvajal suffers toe fracture
The right-back has suffered a fracture to his right foot. The club state his recovery is “pending evolution” offering no official timetable for his return.
Real Madrid have been hit with yet another setback. The club announced on its website that Dani Carvajal has suffered a fracture in the distal phalanx of the little toe on his right foot, confirmed after medical tests. The club added that the defender’s recovery is “pending evolution” offering no official timetable for his return.
Carvajal could return for the last game of the season
Inside the club, however, the expectation is clearer: Carvajal is likely to miss around two weeks, which would sideline him for upcoming matches against Espanyol, Barcelona, and Oviedo, and possibly the clash with Sevilla as well. In theory, he could return in time for Athletic Club’s visit to the Bernabéu on the final matchday.
That game could carry extra weight — it might be Carvajal’s last appearance for Real Madrid. His contract expires this summer, and so far, no renewal has been agreed.
