Antonio Rüdiger: “I will always give 100% at this club”

The German international is expected to start at central defense for Real Madrid as they take on RB Leipzig and look to secure the top spot in Group F.

Antonio Rüdiger has adjusted quite nicely with Real Madrid. He’s made 15 appearances this season, scoring twice, but has only started six times in La Liga and twice in the Champions League. In his last Champions League performance, he netted the equalizer against Shakhtar Donetsk. He’s expected to start tonight when Real Madrid take on RB Leipzig in the Group F stage of the Champions League in Germany.

I didn’t really think I’d find my way around so quickly,” said Rüdiger. “But some players have helped a lot. Actually, all of them. All the players made it very, very easy for me. Players like Toni Kroos, David Alaba, with whom I get along very well.”

Real Madrid has won its last four away games in the group stages pf the UEFA Champions League without conceding a single goal. If they beat RB Leipzig, they will secure the top spot in Group F. The game kicks off at 3 p.m. ET. Find out how and when you can watch online or on TV.
