Bayern Munich are still pushing to sign Harry Kane. According to German newspaper Bild, CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and head of scouting Marco Neppe have reportedly held a meeting in London with Daniel Levy to negotiate the transfer of the England striker. The Tottenham CEO is clear: if Bayern want the striker, they will have to pay more than $110 million.

Bayern optimistic over Kane

There is still not much progress in the negotiations, but according to Bild, the Bundesliga champions are more optimistic than ever that they will be able to close the deal. As is well known, Bayern have already made Spurs an offer of around $78 million, which is far too far from Tottenham’s expectations. That is why the striker will be part of the squad for the training camp in Australia, which starts today (Friday).

New Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou also made it clear that he is counting on Kane for next season. “I want him to be a part of the squad. My conversation with him will be about how to make this club successful again. I have no doubt that’s what he wants as well. I want to introduce myself and I want to find out from him what he wants to make this club successful again,” explained the manager before the secret meeting between Levy and Bayern.
