Chelsea beat Barcelona in race to sign Carney Chukwuemeka
The London club have announced the agreement with West Ham for the transfer of Carney Chukwuemeka.

Aston Villa and Chelsea have announced an agreement for the transfer of Carney Chukwuemeka. The 18-year-old has been given permission to travel to London to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical.
The young midfielder was also of interest to Barcelona, who even met with his agent. The transfer will be around 15 million euros and he will sign a deal at Stamford Bridge until 2028.

The Austrian footballer will join Thomas Tuchel’s team as one of the most talented youngsters in English football. In the local press in Birmingham, he is compared to Paul Pogba, with a powerful physical profile as well as operating as a box-to-box player midfielder.
