England and Uruguay ramp up their preparations for World Cup 2026 with a high-profile friendly at Wembley Stadium. Thomas Tuchel named a 35-player roster for two warm-up games this week, although only 24 are being considered to face Uruguay. Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice are among those who won’t be involved.

Real Madrid’s Fede Valverde and Barcelona defender Ronald Araújo are among the Uruguayan stars set to be on show in London. There is also a Liga MX presence, with Club América duo Brian Rodríguez and Sebastián Cáceres included.
