“Hansi Flick will ruin Barcelona”

In Poland, frustration is mounting over Hansi Flick. Robert Lewandowski’s current role at Barcelona, where he has been benched in some of the club’s biggest games of the season, is fueling growing criticism of the German coach.

The latest voice to weigh in is former Poland international goalkeeper Jan Tomaszewski, who did not hold back in his assessment.

Flick “not fit to manage at this level”

“The German coach is treating Robert Lewandowski the same way he’s treating the entire Barcelona team right now,” Tomaszewski said. “He’s not capable of managing a top-level European side, and he proves it every week.”

Tomaszewski went even further, framing Lewandowski’s situation as deeply unfair given his stature in the game.

“The most popular Polish player in the world, a man who should have won the Ballon d’Or twice, is being treated like a bargaining chip,” he added. “Robert didn’t deserve this. He does not deserve the way he’s being treated at Barcelona by his coach.”

Flick’s Barcelona spell “will not end well”

The former goalkeeper did not stop there, arguing that Flick is actively damaging Barcelona’s sporting project and predicting a similar outcome to his tenure with Germany’s national team.

“You have to admit, sir, that you’ve ruined the entire situation, just like you ruined your time with the German national team,” Tomaszewski said. “His spell at Barcelona will not end well, and he will ruin them.”
