Johan Vásquez arrives at Mexico’s camp in Girona
The Mexican central defender has arrived in Spain to train with the rest of Tata Martino’s squad.
Cremonese defender Johan Vásquez reported for duty with the rest of the Mexico squad in Girona, Spain, where Tata Martino’s men are completing their final preparations for the World Cup. Mexico face Sweden in a friendly at the Montilivi on Wednesday in what will be their last test before their tournament debut against Poland on Tuesday 22 November.
Wednesday’s friendly will serve as a warm-up for the XI who will open Mexico’s campaign against Poland at the World Cup.
Other players who are based at European clubs have already finished or are about to finish their activity with their respective clubs, such as Edson Álvares, Gerardo Arteaga, Erick Gutiérrez, Andrés Guardado, Jorge Sánchez, Orbelín Pineda, Diego Lainez and Santiago Giménez.
