One of the standout footballers of the moment is undoubtedly Jude Bellingham, who, since joining Real Madrid has taken on the responsibility of leading Carlo Ancelotti’s team in LaLiga EA Sports 2023/24, as well as in the UEFA Champions League. This Sunday, he returned to action after being sidelined due to a shoulder injury and managed to improve on a statistic held by Cristiano Ronaldo and Alfredo Di Stéfano.

The English national team player is making a significant impact in his early months as a member of the Merengues, and in just fifteen official matches, he has already surpassed a record held by the legendary Portuguese footballer and the Argentine-born icon. Bellingham has reached a tally of 14 goals, surpassing the 13 goals scored by the aforementioned figures in their respective first fifteen.

Jude equals his mark from previous campaign

Although he couldn’t participate in the recent matches for the ‘Kings of Europe’ and ‘The Three Lions,’ Bellingham is already contemplating a return to action in the Champions League, where next Wednesday, Los Blancos will face Napoli led by Walter Mazzarri at the Santiago Bernabéu. Similar to his first encounter against the Italians, the man with ‘5′ on his back aims to score again to thrill the local fans, many now just expecting him to make the net bulge.

Jude has already matched his goal tally from last season with Borussia Dortmund. However, with the entirety of December and the second half of the football season still lie ahead, and the 20-year-old, winner of the Kopa Trophy and the Golden Boy Award, is poised to continue breaking records. With an eye on Euro 2024 in Germany, the English player is hungry for more success.

Solid victory for Real Madrid

The triumph against Cádiz meant the Madrid players went to sleep on Sunday night as leaders in LaLiga, putting pressure on Girona for their Monday match against Athletic Club de Bilbao. Additionally, the victory led by Rodrygo Goes and Bellingham extends their lead to four points over Atlético Madrid and FC Barcelona, opening more of a gap.
