Rodri defends brilliantly to keep United out and Ortega has a goal-kick.

as.com
85

Ten Hag is looking frustrated on the touchline. He knows time is running out.

Half of Manchester is in the capital and one half of them will be celebrating very shortly. But who will it be?

as.com

Gundogan has his hat-trick, but he's offside!

as.com

RASHFORD!

It's a Rashford rocket. He gets it out of his feet quickly, and cuts across it but there's too much on it and he misses the target as it flies into the fans behind the goal.

He does have 30 goals this season. Ten Hag has been key.

as.com
67

Haaland cam: The big man has been pretty quiet this afternoon.

as.com
66

With the Garnacho change, Bruno has moved centrally and the Argentine forward will play wide.

as.com
65

If this ends in a draw, it will indeed go to extra time.

as.com
64

STONES!

He's in acres of space about 25 yards out and pings an effort. To De Gea's relief, it's high, and sails over.

as.com

United change

as.com
61

Garnacho is warming up for United. Eriksen could be the player to make way.

as.com
60

Casemiro reads the danger well in his defensive midfield role and stops the oncoming Akanji. It remains 2-1 to City at Wembley.

as.com
58

Gundogan releases Grealish on the left. The England international turns back inside to recycle it. City are happy to keep the ball.

How good has Gundogan been over the last two to three months though? Big game player

as.com
54

De Bruyne has 27 assists for City this season!

as.com

City will want to keep him, but he could be on his way to Barcelona!

as.com
as.com

De Gea should do better. City took the lead early in the first half and they have taken the lead early in the second half.

Ten Hag has denied that United's motivation is stopping City from winning the treble, but that will be definitely in the back of their minds!

as.com

Gundogan gave City the lead with a super strike in the opening 13 seconds. Bruno Fernandes then scored from the spot to equalise for United, who have won this trophy 12 times.

as.com

Well, if you are just joining us, it's 1-1 between City and United at Wembley.

as.com

Sancho wriggles his way into the box, but the ball is eventually cleared.

as.com

I have no changes to report!

as.com
46

We're underway for the second half!

as.com

Gundogan's smashing volley came after just 13 seconds - the quickest goal in FA Cup history.

as.com

United are back in the game after that Bruno penalty, so it's going to be intriguing.

47

Lindelof goes long to Rashford through the middle but City defend the danger. With Martial out, Rashford is occupying the central role this afternoon.

as.com
45+

There will be four additional minutes!

as.com

Today is indeed the first time City and United have met in the FA Cup in 12 years.

Last time out, City won 1-0 in the semi-final in 2011.

as.com
42

VARANE! What a great chance that is, but his effort goes well wide from six yards.

as.com
42

We're into the final few minutes of the first half and United have a corner on the right.

as.com
38

Ten Hag's side have done well to get back into this one but there will, as always, be question marks over the penalty that was awarded. Grealish raises his hand but he is very close to Wan-Bissaka when the ball touches the former Villa man's hand.

So United are back in it at Wembley. We have a game on our hands!

as.com

De Gea is down getting treatment. The other 21 players are having some water.

as.com
24

RASHFORD!

That's his first chance. Bruno sends in a low cross from the right. Rashford, in space, heads just wide.

as.com

The United fans are making plenty of noise.

as.com

Manchester United are featuring in the FA Cup Final for the 21st time, the joint-most of any side in the competition's history.

as.com
21

HAALAND!

He tries to whip it into the top corner from the edge of the box. It flies just over the bar after he rolls Varane like he's not even there.

as.com
20

Haaland comes deep for it again, and wins a free, again. City have the lead and are happy to dictate the tempo of this one.

as.com
17

Sancho is played in but Walker shows his speed to win the ball. The full-back clocked over 37km/h this season - an absolute rocket.

as.com
16

Fred fouls Haaland near the halfway line and City have a free.

as.com
15

City have not conceded a single goal in the FA Cup this season.

They're the first club to reach the final without conceding since Everton in the 1965-66 campaign.

as.com
12

That's a nasty one from Casemiro on Akanji. The Brazilian goes in studs up. City have a free.

as.com
11

Can Haaland add to his 52-goal tally for Manchester City today?

City lead 1-0 if you're only joining.

as.com
9

After a crazy opening six minutes, the game has slightly settled. Stones is taking up the more advanced role he has played of late, slipping into City's midfield to give them an extra man going forward.

as.com
6

City have started like a house on fire. Remember, earlier this season, they scored six against United, with Foden and Haaland both scoring hat-tricks.

as.com
4

Rodri!

He heads De Bruyne's cross just wide!

What a start from City.

as.com

Erik ten Hag: “They want to win a Cup and they have an opportunity”

United boss Erik ten Hag spoke ahead of today's final.

“Yes I know (what the treble means to United fans). I know what is the thinking from the fans.

“But what we want is to restore Manchester United by winning trophies so on Saturday we have an opportunity to win a trophy and we don’t want to be distracted by anything. If it is important for the fans it is important for us so we will give everything to win the Cup.

“It (being motivated by stopping City from winning the treble) is not necessary. It will not give more motivation for the team because for their motivation is already enough – it can’t be more.

“They want to win a Cup and they have an opportunity.”

The Manchester derby in London

Kick-off is just over an hour away!

as.com

Treble-winning sides

This City team have already been compared to the United team of 1999. That United team won the treble under legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

City are, of course, on course to win a treble this season, but defeat today would end those hopes.

Guardiola's men recently lifted their third consecutive Premier League title and they face Erik ten Hag's side today and Inter in the Champions League final next Saturday.

It surely is the business end of the season.

Manchester sides meet again

Today is indeed the first time City and United have met in the FA Cup in 12 years.

Last time out, City won 1-0 in the semi-final in 2011.

as.com

Who will start for City?

Manchester City duo Jack Grealish and Kevin De Bruyne are fit for today's FA Cup final, according to the words of City boss Pep Guardiola.

Grealish and De Bruyne missed City’s final two Premier League games, with the Catalan tactician admitting several players were carrying “niggles”.

Defenders Manuel Akanji and Ruben Dias also missed 1-0 defeat to Brentford on the final day of the season.

Asked about De Bruyne and Grealish ahead of the final, Guardiola said: "They trained well in the last two training sessions".

We'll have the City XI for you very soon.
