“I hope he returns in mid to late February, but probably not for the first leg against PSG”, were the words of Nagelsmann about the fibula injury that already deprived the player of being present at the World Cup in Qatar. “We want to integrate him into the team around 21 February. We are very happy with how things have gone so far,” he stressed.
When asked about Mbappé's loss, Nagelsmann added: “I don’t think he will miss the game. I hope he plays. I don’t know what he has. The statement on the PSG website is quite imprecise. I can’t imagine him missing the game.”
