Pizarro apology
Expressing disappointment for missing out on another final, the coach emphasized the need for a deep analysis to determine what steps to take next to improve the squad. “Obviously we’re sad for not being able to give our fans another final, we fell just short, like in the Concachampions. We will conduct a thorough review, assess our work, and decide the path forward. This group has faced both tournaments well, is constructing a new team, and we will work to ensure that the standard remains reaching the final,” he added.

Tigres shocking stat away from home
Tigres’ struggles on the road have been a major concern, with the team failing to score in seven consecutive away matches. For Pizarro, such a statistic is unacceptable for a club of Tigres’ caliber: “This is something we cannot allow for Tigres. It’s an issue we need to analyze and work on moving forward, but yes, it’s definitely something that must improve”.
Tigres have now officially started the preseason, shifting their focus toward reinforcements for the Apertura 2025. For now Pizarro remains at the helm, backed by the club’s leadership as they strategize for the upcoming season
