PSG vs Bayern Munich summary: Coman goal, score, goals, highlights, Champions League
PSG 0-1 Bayern Munich: as it happened
PSG 0-1 Bayern Munich
Bayern dominated the first half and Choupo-Moting and Kimmich could have put the Bavarians ahead in Paris. But they had to wait until the second half to open the scoring, when Kingsley Coman scored from an Alphonso Davies cross.
PSG came alive when Mbappé came on in the second half. The Frenchman, making his return from injury, had two goals disallowed. Nuno Mendes was offside in the buildup to Mbappé's second offside goal. Messi could have equalised late on, but his shot came off Pavard.
Pavard was then sent off for a second yellow and Bayern held onto their narrow lead and are now favourites to advance to the quarter-finals going into the second leg in Munich.
Coman does it again
As per Opta, Kingsley Coman netted the winner for Bayern tonight in his 50th UEFA Champions League appearance. It's also the 39th time he's ended up on the winning side, the most wins by a player in their first 50 appearances in the competition's history.
Bayern take narrow lead back to Germany
PSG were poor until the last 20 minutes but Bayern will be delighted to have held onto a narrow lead and keep out Mbappé when he came on. Overall, Bayern edged it.
PSG have it all to do
Messi and Co lose to Bayern in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 clash at the Parc des Princes.
FT: PSG 0-1 Bayern Munich
Bayern take a great win back to Bavaria as they put one foot in the quarter-finals.
And there's the whistle!
Bayern win in Paris!
Donnarumma collects Kimmich's free-kick.
Kimpembe fouls in his own half. Bayern have a free. That suits them.
It's a poor free from Neymar. It's headed away and falls to Ramos, who heads it over the bar.
PAVARD is sent off!
He brings Messi down and now PSG have a free in a dangerous position.
There will be four minutes added on!

PSG have scored in 23 consecutive home matches until tonight. Will that run be broken?
Bayern will try to stop PSG's momentum by making another change.
PSG have started playing! They've waited a while, though.
MESSI!
It comes off Pavard and goes out for a corner.
Mendes has been lethal down the left. He picks out Messi, whose shot is going in but is deflected off Pavard, who knows nothing about it.
So it's as you were. PSG 0-1 Bayern.
NO GOAL!
Mendes is offside as he crosses and the goal has been ruled out.
Neymar slips Mendes in, who crosses for Mbappé, and the Frenchman buries it into the roof of the net.
Nuno Mendes crosses low, aiming for Neymar. De Ligt clears his lines. 0-1
Former WBA player Gnabry is played in on the right but the flag goes up!

Mbappé scores a tap-in but he's offside!
Neymar shoots, Sommer saves. Mbappé then taps in the rebound from close range but the linesman has his flag up.
It has been a poor showing by PSG tonight. Can they conjure up an equaliser in the final 20 minutes?
Bayern could also easily go up the other end and double their lead; a Bayern side without Sadio Mané and Thomas Muller in attack.
Michael Oliver books Kimpembe for taking out the goalscorer, Kingsley Coman.
Julian Nagelsmann applauds his team. He's happy with what he is seeing.
Kimmich sends a curler to the back post. Marquinhos heads it away. 0-1
Bayern could be three goals to the good here but Donnarumma has made a couple of stunning saves. Mbappé has yet to make an impact.
A Bayern corner is sent in. Pavard heads it. It's going in but Donnarumma makes another huge save to keep his side in this game.
Musiala shows a quick turn of pace to get into the box. He plays it to Choupo-Moting, who shoots from close range. Donnarumma tips it onto the bar.
The ball is played into the box for Choupo-Moting, who goes for the volley. Donnarumma saves it comfortably. A second goal would really be a disaster for PSG, who have yet to have had an effort on target.
Kimmich shoots well over from distance. Goretzka is not happy with his decision to shoot. He wanted to keep the ball.
De Ligt goes to ground to win the ball off Mbappé. It will be interesting to see just how fit the Frenchman is.
PSG have gone from being on the front-foot to now being all over the shop. Bayern have a narrow lead in Paris.

Kylian Mbappé is on for PSG. He's back after he picked up that injury against Montpellier on 1 February.
Kylian Mbappé is getting ready to come on. They certainly need him.
Davies whips it in from the left. Coman is all alone at the back post. He hits it first time with a side-volley and it flies under Donnarumma, who should really do better.
Coman doesn't celebrate against his former club.

A year ago, as the 2021/22 Champions League knockout stage got underway, an important change to the rules had been introduced, one which affected something that had determined so many games in previous editions of the tournament.
The decision itself was made in the summer of 2021, when UEFA abolished what was known as ‘the away goals rule’ in all two-legged European ties.
Introduced in 1965, the away goals rule stated that all goals scored by the visiting team in both home and away legs would count as double if the aggregate score ended level.
Bayern on top
Nagelsmann will be happy with his side's first-half showing. Their high press has worked really well against PSG and they didn't give much space to Messi or Neymar either. There is, however, still a long way to go in Paris.
0-0 at half-time
PSG will be looking to up the ante in the second half as they struggled to really impose themselves against a Bayern side on top.
It's 0-0 at half-time in Paris. Bayern have been the better team in the first half but haven't been able to put their chances away.
And there's the whistle for half-time!
Messi places the free straight into the wall.
It's been all Bayern but Messi could put this in the top corner.
Messi is knocked over by De Ligt. PSG (Messi) have a free-kick 25 yards from goal.
Kimmich takes it down before striking it low and hard from 20 yards out. It's just not in the corner, though. Donnarumma gets down to save it.
Ramos is heading everything and anything. Cancelo looks to pick out Choupo-Moting through the middle. The former Real Madrid captain is in the perfect place to head it away. 0-0
Bayern have a fourth corner. Can they make the most of it? The answer is no. It's sent straight to the front post for PSG to clear.
Upamecano clips one over the top. Ramos, using all his experience, heads it away.
Galtier is screaming at some of his players loud and clear. It remains 0-0 but his side have not impressed so far.
Coman gets it on the left. He just wants a yard of space; he finds it.
His right-footed shot goes low and wide.
The Frenchman did score the winning goal in the Champions League final between these sides in 2019-20. He has some CV.
Choupo-Moting heads wide at the back post!
It's a superb cross from Musiala, who cuts in onto his right foot from the left.
Bayern have been the better side in the opening half hour.
Kimmich's free hits the wall and goes out for a corner on the left.
Bayern have six in the box. Neymar clears it with a header. 0-0
Bayern have a free on the left of the box. It's at an angle, about 30 yards from goal. Kimmich is over it...
The corner is headed away by PSG. It falls to Coman, who puts it in row Z. And I'm not even joking.
Pavard goes right through the back of Neymar and gets a yellow card. It's quite a needless challenge.
Kimmich picks out Coman nicely on the left. The latter finds space at the back post but he doesn't connect well and it's a straightforward one for Donnarumma, who is wearing the number 99 shirt.
There has been another tussle involving Neymar. He connects with Kimmich this time. Bayern have a free. 0-0
Michael Oliver is now going back to have a look at Neymar, who is still down. The replays show that Pavard's left elbow hits Neymar in the chin. But there are no players around Neymar. None of them have protested.
PSG are struggling to keep the ball. Bayern are able to win the ball back quite easily. Neymar has just gone down. Referee Michael Oliver waves play on and Pavard is having none of it.
After getting knocked out of the Coupe de France by Marseille last week, PSG followed their cup disappointment up with a 3-1 Ligue 1 defeat away to Monaco on Saturday. Tonight is another huge test and it remains 0-0 in Paris.
Cancelo fizzes a right-wing cross into the corridor of uncertainty. It's in that danger zone between the line of defence and the goalkeeper. Nobody makes a run and it heads out.
Messi spreads it out to Neymar on the left. The Argentinian sprints to receive the one-two but Upamecano reads it well. That's good defending by Bayern but also more of what PSG are about.
A little more on PSG's young star...
There are some early whistles in the Parc des Princes as PSG struggle to get hold of the ball.
With just 29% possession for PSG, the ball is eventually played into Messi. The World Cup winner goes on a mazy run but eventually overhits his pass.
Bayern haven't given the home side a sniff of the ball and have started well.
At 16 years and 343 days, Warren Zaire-Emery tonight becomes the youngest player in history to start a Champions League knockout game.
Cancelo reads it very well as Neymar is played through. The Brazilian just looks to hold his run and it gives time to the Portugal international to get back and win the ball.
Bayern Munich have started with a back-three tonight, with Upamecano in the centre of the three.
Mbappé could stay on the bench
The Frenchman didn't train with the PSG subs before tonight's game.
Cancelo comes in off the right wing and crosses an inswinger with his left but there is too much on it and Choupo-Moting applauds the effort.
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has en early shot that flies wide.
PSG are playing from right to left in their home strip, with Bayern wearing a red strip and playing from left to right.

Neymar on Jankto: "Every human being should be free to do as they want.”
Neymar has spoken about Czech international Jakub Jankto coming out as gay on Monday and showed his support for the 27-year-old.
“It’s an important day. Everyone is free, and there should be less prejudice, whether that’s homophobia, racism, or any kind of discrimination. I wasn’t aware [of the announcement]. Every human being should be free to do as they want.”
Mané out for Bayern
Bayern Munich are still without Sadio Mané but go into the game having scored 11 goals in their last three games.

Pre-match vibes
The players have had their pre-match stroll and are ready for the warm-up ahead of tonight's tasty fixture.
Tension in the PSG camp?
At PSG's pre-match press conference on Monday, Neymar was asked about reports of a heated exchange with sporting advisor Luís Campos after the league defeat to Monaco on Saturday.
"It happened. There was a little argument. We weren’t in agreement... It happens every day, but I love them all," the Brazilian said.
"It’s like with my girlfriend. Football is not just love, it’s not just friendship. There is respect but arguments do happen. We’re not used to losing. When there are losses, of course, it disrupts us.
"It’s part of the process in order to improve ourselves. In terms of the dressing room, what comes out in the press is sometimes lies, and it goes around the world. I guarantee you that lots of news is false, some of it is true."

Sergio Ramos spoke to UEFA ahead of the Champions League Round of 16 match against Bayern Munich and was honest in his reflections upon leaving Real Madrid in the summer of 2021:
"Obviously, leaving Madrid was a very big change. My goal is always to keep winning. I won a lot with Real Madrid, but I thought it was a good opportunity for a change of scenery.
"Everything was very difficult at first. You have to find a home and settle down, especially when you come with a family, with four children. The process was a bit difficult initially but it all worked out."
Bayern starting XI vs PSG
The Bayern team is in and here is how they will line out. Joao Cancelo starts for the German side but there is no place in the starting eleven for Thomas Muller.
