“The World Cup is unique,” Spain captain Sergio Busquets told a news conference on Tuesday ahead of the team’s opening match in Qatar against Costa Rica. “It’s the biggest sporting event and sometimes the nerves get the better of you when you’re young and you don’t have much experience.
“I tell them [the younger stars] we have to be faithful to our style of play and everything that we’ve been working on with our coach.”
With no Sergio Ramos or David de Gea in the dressing room, Busquets is one of the few memories of the glory teams of the past.
