Real Madrid approaches the Spanish Super Cup final with the confidence that the players who ended the semifinals with minor concerns – Federico Valverde and Jude Bellingham – will be fit to feature in this new Clásico against Barcelona.

These positive updates will allow Carlo Ancelotti to stick to his plan of fielding the same starting XI as in the match against Mallorca.

Ancelotti is not expected to make changes in midfield either. Eduardo Camavinga will reprise his role as pivot, following his outstanding performances in the Copa del Rey and against Mallorca in that position. Valverde, with his energy and long-range threat, and Bellingham, now a complete and dynamic player, will support the attack from midfield.

Luka Modric, who missed the semifinals due to the flu, will be available but is expected to continue in his role as the first substitute for the midfield, bringing consistency and class from the bench.

No changes are anticipated in defense either. Ferland Mendy, often physically fragile, will start at left-back, tasked with the challenging mission of containing Lamine Yamal. Aurélien Tchouaméni will partner Antonio Rüdiger at center-back after recovering from a head knock in the semifinals. Marco Asensio, one of the standout players in the latter stages of the semifinal, will again have to wait for his chance from the bench.
