Fede Valverde was the star of the show as Real Madrid took Manchester City apart in the first leg of the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League round of 16 on Wednesday.
The Uruguayan midfielder hit a first-half hat trick against Pep Guardiola’s team, joining an elite list of players to have scored a Champions League treble for Los Blancos. That group includes Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappé.
