Vini Jr’s astronomical new contract revealed
The attacker will sign a new deal until 2030 and will earn as much as Mbappé.

As first reported by SER, Vinicius has already agreed to a new contract with Real Madrid. Everything is ready except for the signature, which is expected to take place once La Liga ends and before the Club World Cup begins. With this move, the club continues to build its future around a core of Vinicius, Mbappé, and Bellingham.
Vinicius’s agent, Frederico Pena—who also represents Endrick—favours short-term contracts that allow players to retain control over their careers. That’s why Vini will only add three years to his current deal, extending it to 2030. This will be his third contract with the club: the first was signed when he was 17, the second in 2022 when he renewed, and now this latest agreement.
This new deal makes Vinicius the highest-paid player in the squad. When he renewed in 2022, he agreed to earn approximately $84.4 million over five seasons, averaging about $16.9 million net per year. With the latest renewal, his salary approaches $22.5 million net annually. For comparison, the club has stated that Mbappé earns around $16.9 million per season—excluding a substantial signing bonus that is effectively spread across his five-year contract.

Vini Jr to earn $112.5 million over five years
Vinicius’s contract includes major performance-based incentives. In addition to bonuses for team achievements, there are personal targets—such as reaching a set number of goals or winning individual awards like the Ballon d’Or or The Best. Winning The Best, for example, earned him an additional $2.25 million on top of his $16.9 million base salary.
One key point in this renewal is that the new terms take effect immediately, not after the current contract expires in 2027. Vinicius will begin receiving his new salary—around $22.5 million per year—from this season through 2030. The deal remains progressive, with the Brazilian expected to earn roughly $112.5 million net over the next five years.
Vinicius’s journey is one of hard work and perseverance. When he signed with Madrid in 2017 at age 17 (with the contract becoming active when he turned 18), he was already a rising star in Brazil. His first deal was modest, but by 2022, he was earning approximately $5.3 million net annually. His story is a testament to effort and consistency.

Vinicius has never entertained the idea of leaving Real Madrid, even when a staggering offer from Saudi Arabia promised him $1.125 billion over five years. Likewise, the club has never considered letting him go. He is a cornerstone of the project—a true franchise player, alongside Mbappé and Bellingham.
