Vinicius: “He acts stupid to get on TV” - Cameras pick up on-field spat with Real Madrid star
The Brazilian had his ups and downs with some Espanyol players in Sunday's game.

As in every game, Vinicius Jr. had a camera following him for the full 90 minutes, revealing all the conversations the Brazilian had with his opponents. It was no different in the latest meeting between Real Madrid and Espanyol, when, thanks to a brace from the Brazilian, Arbeloa’s team prevented Barça from clinching the title and avoided having to give them a guard of honor.

What was Vinicius’ spat with El Hilali?
Movistar Plus+ cameras captured a clash between Vinicius and Omar El Hilali. The Moroccan was tasked with defending the Brazilian. In one sequence from the game, Vinicius told him: “Later you’ll ask me for my shirt outside. Stop messing around, you’re stupid. Do you want to fight?”
In another, before a corner or a free kick was taken, Vinicius scolded the Espanyol player for grabbing him while play was stopped: “Wait, the ball’s dead and you’re already grabbing me.” El Hilali replied: “And what do you want me to do?”
Vinicius answered: “But why do you have to push? You’re always pushing. I’m calm, brother,” before commenting to his Espanyol teammate, ”No, he’s just stupid. He wants to act stupid so he can get on TV.”
The run-ins between Vinicius and El Hilali went no further than the kind of conversations common in a soccer game, and both players finished the match without any problems.
