The Scots will be appearing at only their second major tournament since 1998. What’s more, their match-up with the Germans will be their first European Championship finals game outside of the UK in over 30 years, since they beat the CIS 3-0 in their last group-stage clash at Sweden ‘92.

Germany have won their last three meetings with Scotland, the most recent of which was a 3-2 triumph in European Championship qualifying in September 2015.
