Which clubs have won the most FA Cup titles?

Liverpool, one of England’s most successful clubs, have seven FA Cup titles. The last time the Merseysiders lifted the trophy was in the 2005-06 season.

Chelsea are looking for their ninth FA Cup title today as they face Liverpool at Wembley. The London club have won the famous trophy on eight occasions.

Chelsea’s rivals Tottenham have also won it eight times, with their last success coming in the 1990-91 season when they beat Nottingham Forest 2-1 at Wembley.

Liverpool, one of England’s most successful clubs, have seven FA Cup titles. The last time the Merseysiders lifted the trophy was in the 2005/06 season under Rafael Benitez.

Steven Gerrard inspired the Reds on that particular afternoon, as they came back to beat West Ham 3-1 on penalties.

Arsenal’s FA Cup success

Arsenal have won the FA Cup a record 14 times.

The Gunners have enjoyed plenty of success in the competition over the last two decades, winning it in 2002–03, 2004–05, 2013–14, 2014–15, 2016–17 and 2019–20.

Manchester United have the second best record in the oldest footballing competition in the world, with 12 titles.

Current Premier League leaders Manchester City have won it six times.

City were runners up in one of the biggest ever FA cup final upsets when Roberto Martínez’s Wigan Athletic clinched a dramatic late winner in the 2013 final.
