The final match of the round of 32 gets underway from Kansas City, Missouri as the Black Stars of Ghana take on Los Cafeteros of Colombia.

There is just one more match in the round of 32, and Ghana will take on Colombia from Kansas City, Missouri. With one final spot left in the round of 16, it will be a cauldron in KC, and one man is in charge of keeping the order.
Clement in command in KC
That man’s name is Clement Turpin. A French referee who has been around the block in his career. This will be the third match in charge during this World Cup after doing the England-Croatia match and the Paraguay-Austria in the group stages.
Turpin has been a FIFA referee since 2010 and in the UEFA Elite group since 2012. He has been in charge of Champions League matches, Euros and the last two World Cups. He whistled his first knockout round match in the last World Cup in Qatar when Brazil beat Korea 4-1.

He is back in the knockout round tonight as Colombia and Ghana will look to book their ticket to the round of 16. Colombia were dealt a tough blow with a very narrow offside call against Portugal that took what would have been a late go ahead goal off the board. They will be hoping to avoid the same fate from Kansas City tonight against the Black Stars.
At the club level, Turpin was selected to officiate the UEFA Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid. Real Madrid won that match 1-0 over the Reds from Stade de France.
