Will Harry Kane play for Bayern Munich against Real Madrid in the Champions League?
There is a race against time in Munich as Bayern’s players returned from international break and shift their focus on the Chamipons League tie with Real Madrid.

International breaks are always a cause for concern for clubs, especially around this time of year. Bayern Munich were dealt a massive blow in the days leading up to the first leg of their quarterfinal tie with Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Kane coming back in “not ideal” shape
Harry Kane came back from the English national team with an ankle injury, and Vincent Kompany has given a bleak forecast of the strikers status. After feeling a tweak in his ankle in Sunday’s training session, Kane’s status for the upcoming Bundesliga match against SC Frieburg was thrown in to doubt.

On Friday morning, Kompany confirmed that Kane would not be available for the upcoming match in the German league. “It’s not ideal. I would have liked him to be there, but as things stand, that’s not possible,” said the former Manchester City defender.
When asked about the upcoming match at the Bernabeu, Kompany said he is “still optimistic” that their talisman will be available for Tuesday’s first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal, but only time will tell.
Mbappe back to 100%
England manager, Thomas Tuchel, called up 35 men to his team for the final international break, but intentionally gave guys like Kane and Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka the first of two matches off so they could rest for the final part of the club season. None of them ended up playing in the second match against Japan after picking up knocks over the break.

10 - Anthony Gordon
10 - Harry Kane
8 - Juan Alvarez

Kane is the top scorer in the Bundesliga with 31 goals in 26 matches and has another 10 goals in the Champions League. That puts his in a tie for second behind Kylian Mbappe who has 13 and level with Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon.
Mbappe has been battling a knee injury for the last month, but made his return from injury just before the break and looked like he had regained his burst in the two matches he played with France. Mbappe is fit and available for Alvaro Arbeloa for this weekend’s match against Mallorca, and is counting on him for the first leg on Tuesday. The question is, will Bayern have their Golden Boot candidate ready for the match in Madrid?
