The Champions League Team of the Season has been named, with winners Barcelona boasting six players in the team, while runners-up Wolfsburg have four in the eleven.
Barcelona were 2-0 down against the German side in the Champions League final in Eindhoven on Saturday but came back to clinch their second European title with a 3-2 win. Barça Femení also enjoyed Champions League success in 2021.
McCabe named in XI
In a team dominated by the Champions League finalists, Arsenal player Katie McCabe makes the team. The Ireland international has been selected at left-back after a fine campaign with the London outfit.
The Gunners lost out on a spot in the Champions League final after an extra-time defeat to Wolfsburg at the Emirates Stadium in May.
