In an all-European tie in Toronto today, Croatia take on Portugal in a big-name matchup in the 2026 World Cup round of 32.
The 2018 World Cup runners-up, who made the semifinals four years ago, qualified for the knockout stages by taking second place in Group L, behind England. They face a Portuguese team that also finished second in their section, after being beaten to top spot by Colombia.
The winners of this evening’s clash at BMO Field will take on Spain in the last 16, after La Roja ousted Austria with a 2-0 win in Los Angeles earlier today.
