FIFA set to release new batch of World Cup match tickets on Wednesday
Tomorrow (Wednesday, 22 April) will mark 50 days before the 2026 World Cup kicks off as Mexico face South Africa.

The final countdown to the 2026 FIFA World Cup is well underway and to celebrate just 50 days before the tournament gets underway in Mexico City, the governing body have announced that another inventory of match tickets will be made available.

Much has been documented about pricing for the tournament with FIFA coming under fire for excessive pricing campaigns coupled with the legal secondary ticket market in the United States which have led to eye-watering prices for many of the high profile matches.
FIFA have confirmed that a new batch of tickets will be made available on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis with the window opening at 11:00 ET on Wednesday (April 22) but at present no further details have been released relating to what category tickets will be available.
Seems odd to get an email from FIFA a few minutes just 50 days before the World Cup starts offering tickets to all 104 matches.
