Update:

While most of the soccer world was glued to one of the wildest Champions League games in recent memory, Pep Guardiola was somewhere very different. The Manchester City boss made quite certain he did what nobody expected and was spotted in the stands at Edgeley Park watching a League One clash between Stockport County and Port Vale, a game that ended 2-1 to the visitors. Sky Sports captured the moment.

PSG edge crazy night in Paris

It was a stark contrast to events in Paris, where PSG edged Bayern Munich 5-4 in a chaotic, end-to-end Champions League semifinal first leg packed with goals, drama and the odd controversial penalty. While Europe’s elite were trading blows at the Parc des Princes, Guardiola opted for a lower-league outing much closer to home, just days after guiding Manchester City to another FA Cup final.

The City manager now turns his attention back to domestic duties, with a Premier League clash against Everton looming on Monday.
