The first trailer for the new Bob Marley biopic, starring Kingsley Ben-Adir and directed by King Richard’s Reinaldo Marcus Green, was released last week.

The first trailer for Bob Marley: One Love was released on Thursday. The film is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, who directed King Richard. It was produced by Marley’s son Ziggy, daughter Cedella, and widow, Rita, along with Robert Teitel.
Playing Bob Marley is actor Kingsley Ben-Adir, who learned to play guitar for the role. Lashana Lynch plays Rita Marley. The movie focuses on the time after an assassination attempt was made on Marley in 1976 as he gets ready for the 1978 One Love Peace Concert in Jamaica.
The film will be released in theaters on Friday, January 12, 2024.
