Rayo Vallecano feature in latest Copa 90 documentary

You Tube football channel Copa 90 showcase the La Liga side from the working class area of Vallecas and focus on the social side of the club.

Since it's launch in October 2012, You Tube channel Copa 90  has been a key on-line destination for football fans throughout the world.

With a philosophy claiming that 'football is more than just a game, it has the power to unite people from all walks of life in the way that nothing else can`, the London based company has produced over 1,100 football related videos and documentaries on the channel passing the 1 million subscriber landmark mid 2015.

With shows such as the Euro-fan, Comments Below, Derby Days and This is .... Copa 90 have been all around the world in their quest to bring the viewer some of the best and most important football culture related stories the global game has to offer with the emphasis always on the fan.

Creative Director at the company, Lawrence Tallis states:"Our presenters are not former players sitting in a studio quarantined from the people who pay their wages, they are fans, in the stands with the rest of the supporters, living ever moment of the game."

Spain has been a regular destination for the Copa 90 film crew with the local game featured on many occasions by Copa 90. From the 'The Real Oviedo Story' film focusing on the massive international campaign to saving the Asturian club to Real and Atletico Madrid Championship League ties, Copa have been anxious to relay the narrative, passion, culture and history the Spanish game has to offer.

Producer, Neil Stacey adds that future plans in Spain for Copa 90 include a film on the Sevilla-Betis derby. "We are often told the Seville Derby is the best in Spain so would like to cover this, plus teams like Real Oviedo and Eibar who we have previously covered are both enjoying good seasons, and we would like to re-visit them and continue to tell their story.".

The latest offering in the "This is " series is 'This is Rayo Vallecano', a short nine minute documentary focusing on the small LaLiga club from the working class neighborhood of Vallecas in South West of Madrid.
