BARCELONA-SEVILLA
Recovering Rafinha features in Barcelona training
The Brazilian, who suffered a serious knee injury away to Roma nearly six months ago, figured for part of Barça's group session on Saturday.
The presence of Rafinha Alcántara was the major news as Barcelona underwent their final training session before hosting Sevilla in La Liga on Sunday (20:30 CET).
The Brazilian, who suffered a serious knee injury in Barça's Champions League draw at Roma in September last year, joined the group for the first time in almost six months, completing part of the work-out alongside his team-mates.
The 23-year-old took part in the 'rondo' ball-retention drills with which the squad regularly get their sessions underway, before moving on to specific exercises focusing on his return to fitness.
In January, Rafinha had stepped up his recuperation by beginning individual work with ball at feet out on the training field, and his participation in a section of today's practice sees his recovery remain on schedule.
