Paul Pogba is only 23 and yet he has already won 4 scudettos. He's one of the most sought-after players in Europe with clubs such as Real Madrid willing to splash out this summer to being one of Zidane's most-rated players to the Bernabéu. The France international gave an interview to ‘La Republica’ in which he spoke, amongst other things, about Cristiano Ronaldo, who he says is not as self-centred as some people think. “Is Messi selfish for scoring goals? No, that's what helps the team win their games. Just take a look at Cristiano Ronaldo. He sets himself big objectives because he is ambitious, he wants to beat all of the records out there and win the Ballon d'Or. But that isn't selfishness”, Pogba explained.

The midfielder says he is similar. “I want to be a football legend, like Pelé or Maradona. Maybe even better than them. I'm not saying that I am stronger than they were, just that it's what I would like to be”, he added.

“I have a problem - I hate losing. And I also like to be different and do what others wouldn't dare to do. I work very hard to be perfect because winning makes me feel happy. If people want to criticize me, they can”.

As for his future, Pogba says that is in the hands of his agents because he is only looking as far as this summer's EURO 2016. “MY future? First I want to beat Carpi [on Sunday], then the Coppa Italia and after that the Euros in France. After that I will still be under contract at Juventus. I can't just get up one morning and take a flight to England. You have to ask the people who work in the transfers department”.
