Barcelona coach Luis Enrique was a picture of elation on his arrival back to the Condal City after winning the league in Los Cármenes and he sent a message to madridistas on the club's TV channel : "We have to celebrate this league with a victory parade. We're not used to this. We need to celebrate it. Other teams would love to be in our position, winning six out of the last eight league campaigns. The league is benchmark for what you have acieved throughout the season. The Champions League depends more on specific moments: who you get in the draw, and having luck in the ties, than having a poor game away from home which could leave you out of the competition... The Copa del Rey is similar. We're very excited by it but what reflects how you have performed over the whole season is the league".

The Barça coach also indicated when the tide turned for the Blaugranas: "The Valencia game really boosted us even though we lost. The fans were right behind us, and the players reacted well and played to a very high level. It was unfair how we lost but those episodes can repeat themselves in football, that's why we have been cautious".

Now his team are determined to complete a league and Cup double: "This is a team made of champions. You only need to look at what these players have won. The players who have been here before and those who have only recently arrived have all been keen to do things well. We have to savour this league triumph even though we still have other objectives".
