Update:
Luis Miguel Ramis

Luis Miguel Ramis is no longer in charge of Castilla. The coach revealed the news with a post on his personal Twitter account at roughly 22:00 CET last night:

"The dream last ed six months and it has been wonderful. Thank you to everyone who has been supportive. Hala Madrid for ever.”.

AS later spoke to Víctor Fernández (boss of the youth set-up at Real Madrid) and he confirmed that a decision had been taken internally at the club not to renew Ramis' contract.

The move has been met with a degree of surprise after Ramis took control of the Segunda B side some six months ago after Zidane replaced Rafa Benitez as head coach of the Madrid first team. His Castilla won their 2B group but fell short in both 'finals' against UCAM Murcia and Lleida which deprived the youth team a promotion to the Spanish second division

Forme Real Madrid player and current coach of the "Juvenil" side, Santiago Solari is being tipped as Ramis' successor on the Castilla bench fo the 2016/17 campaign.
