Jesé faces injury lay-off due to appendicitis operation
PSG's new signing could spend up to four weeks on the sidelines after being diagnosed with appendicitis on Saturday, leaving him needing surgery
Just hours after making his debut for PSG, Jesé Rodríguez is suffering from appendicitis and will need an operation. During the season's Ligue 1 opener against Bastia, it was Jesé’s shot which forced the only goal of the game, with Kurzawa putting in the rebound for a 1-0 win.
Up to four weeks out
However, early on Saturday morning Jesé was diagnosed with appendicitis and could be out of action for four weeks to recovery from surgery.
Jesé was presented by the Parisian club on Monday after they secured a €25m transfer for the striker from Real Madrid.
