Real turn summer transfer profit
Despite a potential transfer ban hanging over the club, Madrid had a quiet window - one that saw them register a negative net outlay.
Real Madrid have come out of the latest transfer window 3.5 million euros better off, having recorded a summer profit for the third time in the last five years.
Income from departures outweighs fee paid for Morata
With the re-purchase of Álvaro Morata Real's only transfer outlay, the sales of Jesé Rodríguez, Denis Cheryshev and Álvaro Medrán for 25 million, 7 million and 1.5 million, respectively, have left Los Blancos with a negative net spend.
That doesn't mean there are no further fresh faces in Zinedine Zidane's first-team squad, however: Marco Asensio and Fabio Coentrao have returned from loan spells, while Castilla striker Mariano Díaz has been promoted to the senior set-up.
Real are one of 11 LaLiga clubs to have spent less than they made during the window - something they also managed in 2012 and 2014. Barcelona and Atlético Madrid, meanwhile, posted respective losses of 91.1 million and 50 million.
