Iker Casillas added another piece of history to his illustrious career on Saturday evening, drawing level with Andoni Zubizarreta as the Spanish goalkeeper with the most ever competitive appearances.

The FC Porto custodian chalked up his 1,020th official match in his side's Primeira Liga clash with Nacional, which saw Nuno Espírito Santo's men win 4-0.
Still trails Xavi, Raúl
In the overall ranking of players from Spain, the 35-year-old remains behind midfielder Xavi Hernández, currently on 1,031 games, and forward Raúl González, who retired on 1,063.
