Update:
Ronaldinho believes Barcelona want to sign Liverpool's Coutinho

Liverpool - Chelsea live

Xavi Hernández recently said: "Coutinho is one of the few players that could improve Barcelona". And now another ex-Barça star has spoken about the Liverpool player.

Ronaldinho spoke with British newspaper, The Sun, about his Brazilian compatriot who is currently out of action with an ankle knock sustained in the victory over Sunderland but prior to that had scored six goals in 14 games as well as provide a real creative impetus to the leagues most potent attack:

“I hope when he returns from injury that he will continue the form he has been showing all season with Liverpool. He has been one of the stand out players in Europe this season – and I know there is a lot of admiration of him at Barcelona."

“Liverpool will want to keep him, they have built the team around him. But when you play at that level then there is always interest.”

Liverpool's next two games are against Stoke on Tuesday 27 December and then a key clash against Manchester City at Anfield on New Year's Eve. Coutinho will not feature in either.
