There may be little football around Europe during the Christmas holidays but the Premier League continues apace with the traditional set of festive fixtures.

Plenty of interest will focus on the fortune of Crystal Palace, who took the decision last week to replace Alan Pardew with the steady hand of Sam Allardyce, with the London club in a spot of relegation bother.

Eyes will also alight on the title challengers, with Spurs and Chelsea facing off at White Hart Lane and Liverpool and Manchester City going toe-to-toe at Anfield.
