Tianjin interest in Costa
Concretely, the Italian was referring to a rumoured offer being prepared by Tianjin Quanjian, coached by his compatriot and World-Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro, for in-form Diego Costa. The Chinese club is reportedly preparing a 104-million-euro bid for the Spain striker, who leads the Premier League scoring charts this season.
“I hope that with Mikel and Oscar we are finished with China for now,” the Chelsea manager said. “I hope so. As I have said before, I think it is important to keep the squad together. Right now we are fighting for titles, we have started the season well and it’s important to keep going with the same players.”
