Karim Benzema's goal for Real Madrid in Saturday's 5-0 LaLiga thumping of Granada should not have stood, with TV replays showing the striker was offside.

Benzema buries rebound - but was ahead of last man

Benzema put Real 2-0 ahead in the 20th minute at the Santiago Bernabéu, tapping in after visiting keeper Guillermo Ochoa had parried Luka Modric's effort.

However, referee Iñaki Vicandi Garrido and his assistants failed to spot that the Frenchman was standing in an illegal position when Modric hit his shot.
