Luis Suárez could face disciplinary action over his comments to the media after being sent off in Barcelona's Copa del Rey semi-final with Atlético Madrid.
Off for two bookings at the Camp Nou
Suárez is set to miss the final after being dismissed for two yellow cards in Tuesday's last-four second leg, in which his goal ensured a 3-2 aggregate win.
The Uruguayan striker could also see a potential one-game ban extended after referee Jesús Gil Manzano's match report made note of the player's failure to leave the field immediately, or go straight to the dressing rooms.
Hit out at ref in post-game interview
And he may additionally be in line for punishment for suggesting in a post-match interview that the official's decision to send him off was premeditated.
"I can only laugh at the second yellow card," Suárez said. "It wasn't even a foul, but we know how it works here. It seems like it was what he [Gil Manzano] wanted."
According to the media outlet Iusport, the Spanish FA's referees' committee is to report the 30-year-old to the governing body's disciplinary panel over his remarks.
Barcelona to appeal
Barcelona have confirmed that they are to appeal the ex-Liverpool star's second yellow, which he received after a tussle with Atlético's Koke late on.
Barça will also challenge Gil Manzano's booking of substitute Sergio Busquets.
