Polish referee Szymon Marciniak has been handed the task of refereeing the Champions League last 16 match between Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday February 14 at 20.45.
Marciniak, 36, has taken charge of two games in the group stage of this year’s tournament, between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund (2-2) and Atlético Madrid and Bayern Munich (1-0).
Italy’s Nicola Rizzoli will be the man in the middle for the second match on Tuesday, which opens the last 16 phase of this year’s Champions League, between Benfica and Borussia Dortmund in the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon.
