Bayern Munich's Thiago Alcántara is among the options Barcelona are looking at to strengthen their midfield, according to a report on Spanish radio.
Cadena SER says the Catalan club are out to bring the 25-year-old back to the Camp Nou in the summer, four years after selling him to the German champions.
Having come through Barça's youth system with brother Rafinha, Thiago made 100 first-team appearances before joining Bayern in a deal worth 25m euros in 2013.
Stumbling blocks for Barcelona to overcome
The Bavarians are unlikely to be keen to sell the Spain cap, who is a key figure under Carlo Ancelotti and has been one of the Italian's most used players this term.
And Bayern's healthy financial situation means it would probably take an astronomical figure to prise him from an outfit who are not a selling club.
