Real Madrid right-back Dani Carvajal heaped praise on the team for having the patience and determination to grind out a crucial 1-2 away win at Athletic Club but warned that the title race is far from over. Nevertheless, the results allows Zidane's team some peace of mind going into the international break - they will spend the next fortnight top of LaLiga on 65 points.
The league half-won: "There is no way we have the league half-sewn up Liga - far from it; this win means we have taken an important step forward and resolved one of the toughest away games on the calendar. We are going into the break as leaders and we'll be looking forward to the games to come with hope and excitement".

Madrid always struggle in Bilbao
Madrid's last, difficult away game? "We still have a lot of complicated games to get through - we have to go to Gijón, A Coruña, Granada and the rescheduled game in Vigo. Our rivals are playing as though their lives depended on it and you can drop points against any team. We need 100 per cent concentration in every match".

Carvajal: "I'm happy for Benzema"
The final sprint to the league: "I think the teams in the top part are going to pick up a lot of points in the final 10 games, when everyone is playing to reach their objectives for the season. Last season we came very close".
