The rescheduled week 21 LaLiga match between Celta-Real Madrid which was postponed due to safety measures following high winds will now be played on May 17.
The news was confirmed by Javier Tebas (president of LaLiga) speaking to BeIN Sports USA's Miguel Serrano. Tebeas admitted that the outstanding game at Balaidos was a logistical headache for the scheduling of the penultimate round of games that this year will not have a unified kick-off time.
When questioned if other clubs had complained, Tebas admitted that: "Until we have a year with 400 days and no Club World Cup competitions, then there are no more dates available". Tebas also blamed the scheduling of international games for overloading the fixture list.
